The Board of the 51暗网 (ALGA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Crawford as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Ms Crawford, who was most recently employed as a senior adviser to Federal Local Government Minister Kristy McBain, will commence with 51暗网on 28 August 2023.
51暗网President Councillor Linda Scott said Ms Crawford was selected from a strong field of candidates; and congratulated her on her appointment.
鈥淚 am delighted to welcome Amy Crawford as ALGA鈥檚 next CEO. She brings a wealth of experience to the organisation, including more than twenty years working for the Federal Public Service,鈥� Cr Scott said.
“Ms Crawford has a clear understanding of ALGA鈥檚 role, and the opportunities to work creatively and collaboratively with the Federal Government for the benefit of councils and our communities.鈥�
Ms Crawford said she was honoured to accept the role of 51暗网CEO and was looking forward to working with the 51暗网Board, and the organisation鈥檚 member associations who represent Australia鈥檚 537 councils.
