WHY Ranch.

LAS VEGAS—WHY Ranch is delighted to announce that “ONE,” the new documentary film about the ranch and its programs, has won a prestigious Telly award. The 2015 Bronze level award honors the film in the documentary film/video category. Adrian León, of Jett-Leon Ltd., produced the film, which tells the compelling story of the White Horse Youth Ranch and its mission to educate minds, inspire creativity and encourage integrity for the youth of our community through the positive interaction with our American living legend, the horse. Designed to honor excellence in film and video production, the 36th Annual Telly Awards included nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, making it one of the most competitive and comprehensive events in Telly history.

Amy Meyer-Terry, founder and president of Why Ranch, appreciated working with the Jett-Leon Ltd. team and the insight and creativity they brought to the project. “Adrian León and his talented team absolutely understood what we are accomplishing here at the ranch and were able to tell our story in such a beautiful and compelling way. We’re forever grateful for their amazing work and congratulate them on winning this very deserved award.”

Adrian León strongly believes in the WHY Ranch mission and is gratified to have the opportunity to build awareness of its important and innovative programs. “Making this film was very meaningful for me and for our crew. We think the end result communicates strongly the value of White Horse Youth Ranch and the needs it meets in our community.” León is an award-winning director of documentaries and corporate films and a producer of broadcast television and Internet content. His other recent film "Trafficked No More" won a 2014 Silver Award, the highest honor, for Informational TV Program at the 35th Annual Telly Awards. In addition to his work on “ONE,” he is currently in pre-production for two financed independent feature films.
